Recommended Packing list!

This is a guide, remember Portugal is a first world country and they have everything ( I could never find epsom salts and I highly recommend you bring ) - do not send 6 months Costco shampoo and pay for an overweight bag , remember the dancer has to be able to pick up her own bag and load on/ off charter bus .

Hand luggage will be weighed at airport so please check your airline requirements

REMIND YOUR DANCER- Food - no nuts, fruit, meats to be brought into Portugal - we will have to discard any food stuff at airport.

​

Reminder- dancers you might only do laundry once a week so take enough clothing for 7 days.

Staying at Eurosol you do not need Tide Pods as the laundromat has automatic soap in machines

Dancers should label everything even an initial is fine.

Euro's

Personally suggest you order 2 weeks prior depending on your bank they only take a day or two to come in , dancer must arrive with euro's and must know how to use a debit card at an ATM machine prior and you must notify the bank that the card will be be used in Europe 

Cash for Tome in envelopes labeled with dancer's name 

Cash for victor Silver Coast Tours and airport pick up drop off .

Dancers - when you go grocery shopping use up the coins you will collect - no one wants to come back here with 50 euro's in coins   and you need them for laundramat .

cash to school - only take each day what you need for lunch and hide it in your cell cover which you hand in to the office daily .

 

 Electronics

**************Plug adapters required, try get one's which can charge multiple appliances .

Voltage is 110 - do not bring your American 120 voltage hair dryer/ flat iron - you will blow the power- Sally's has hair dryers that are 110 voltage or look on Amazon.

Have you contacted your cell phone supplier ? Extra chargers.

What they call Salmon we call Ballet Pink 

5 Black Leotards/ 1 colored

10 pairs of tights ( keep 2 aside for Gala )

Ballet shoes with ribbons and elastics

Pointe shoes - you know how many you need, if you need a fitting for additional shoes we can do at our party.

The Ballet Shop is where we will have our Party July 18/25  and anything needed is available there, the dancers will be able to purchase Ballet Rosa and other brand leotards a lot cheaper than USA.

The Ballet Shop is in walking distance from the Eurosol- if the dancers need anything during the week I can walk over for them or I can ask the store to stay open a little later for them to get there.

I cant stress enough how dancers must have pointe shoe accessories , including extra toe pads, toe tape, gel dots -

** Aerosol cans have been known to leak in luggage so I suggest creams or purchase in Portugal or cover multiple times with cling wrap and then zip lock bags.

Valuables - leave at home , you will not wear it and be devastated to lose it so don't bring it .

Key rings for safe key which we will get upon check in - do not loose as there will be a fee to replace.

Lunch box and ice cooler - in case dancer wants to make own lunch

Medications

All dancers should have Advil, band aids, antibiotic creams, and any and all medications they normally require.

Nail clippers, emery boards

Please alert me to any medial issues your dancer has, this is confidential, but it does help me if your child is not well.

If a visit to Dr is required and dancer is unaccompanied, I will take them to the walk-in clinic.

Towels

All dancers need a beach and bath towel in apartments.

Dancers at Eurosol need beach towel (no pool towels are supplied at hotel).

Passport - please carry screen shot and have a photocopy.

Minor permission to travel - hard copy for those under 18 not traveling with an adult 

​

Questions - ask me
